“In post war Britain we moved from the thrifty world of rationing from the 40s into the decade that changed the world..Youth Culture  was about to explode from the Bohemian culture of soho Jazz clubs to the wild excess of Rock n Roll

Americana arrived on our shores and changed our lives forever.” Post war Britain was partying.....SCi FI movies  TV and fashion were taking off.  We had a new Queen and Elvis landed !

1960's

In Britains towns and cities the young working men and women were discovering a new identity

the Mod Culture that we know today developed from the Italian dress culture and the post jazz era developed into a new way of life the British R & B explosion and the mersey sound changed the face of music and fashion..

Soul music hit the dance floors England had won the world cup and the space race began....we had James Bond, Dr Who, and the new more free thinking world led to Pyscadelia and the protest song was born.

Britain was mass producing everything from Cars to bikes fashions to ships and the economy was booming Highlights include The Mod Zone british RnB, Vintage scooters, cars, dance floor,exhibits from 60s sci fi culture..The Batmobile British Classics
